If a card shouts something out to you, all well and good. If you find yourself needing reference - use a book or look online. The majority of readers have at least some books to turn to.
I think you discovered your Devil from your last reading. Chained to the interpretations of others in books perhaps? And congratulations, you are leaning more on your own take!
