I'm having a blast with my new Tarot Nova -- but on the Aeclectic website it's described as "a cute gift shop tarot... appropriate for children." Huh! It reads fantastically, a combination of dead on-target and laugh-out-loud funny. So, I say, don't let anyone dis your "Simply Tarot"! It sounds like you've got a great rapport going with it. :)
Hmmm...I think you may have taken the AT description a little too much to heart. There are quite a few decks out there that are completely appropriate for children, in fact there are a couple of threads on them. The same decks can read brilliantly for adults, too.
People will always have opinions - it's not that long since I posted in a thread when someone asked if they should 'grow up' from the RWS. Heaven forbid!
Anyway, please don't call your deck embarrassing anymore - unless it starts to become so for you personally. Let it know it's loved!
